Comprehensive Editing After

This artifact demonstrated my ability to take technically intensive source material and convert it to readily comprehendible content for a target audience. In this artifact, I took content regarding alcohol laws and translated it into accessible and easy-to-read content for a wider audience. In general, legal content is tough to read due to the sentence structures and terminology. To address this without altering the language, I implemented chunking, organization, and textual hierarchies.
The efficacy and impact of technical written materials depends on presentations which facilitate comprehension in the target audience.

In this project, I demonstrate the rhetorical knowledge to specify a target audience and adapt information for it. My target audience was college students in Utah which needed to be aware of alcohol possession and distribution laws due to their age and proximity to a culture with heavy alcohol use.
